1 large onion, sliced into 1 inch rounds
1 medium carrot, sliced into 1 inch rounds
1 medium head cabbage, sliced into 1 inch rounds
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 cup white wine
In a large bowl, cover onion and carrot and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
Stuff cabbage with the onion and carrot mixture and place aside.
In a small bowl, mix salt and pepper with white wine. Add finely chopped onions and carrots to the mixture and toss lightly.
Heat remaining white wine in a medium saucepan and pour over leaf stuffing. Cover and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
