2 tablespoons marinara sauce
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
7 tablespoons garlic powder
1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon paprika
In a large bowl, combine marinara sauce, shrimp, onion and vinegar. Mix well. Reserve 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce for garnish.
Stir in Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, garlic powder, tomato paste, oil, sugar and white sugar. Mix together. Return shrimp to marinara sauce.
Combine sauce, shrimp, onion and vinegar and toss gently. Garnish with sour cream, paprika and remaining marinara sauce. Top with shrimp, then top with tomato paste.
Cover loosely and refrigerate overnight. Garnish with reserved marinara sauce.
