Skullcracker Tombstone Recipe

Ingredients

1 (4 ounce) package KRAFT Sweet Bread Mix

1 (5 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, divided

1 small onion, diced

1 cup diced celery

1 cup diced celery and onion

1 cup diced celery

1 cup diced celery and onion

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon salt

1 1/2 tablespoons ground black pepper

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix sweet bread mix, tomato, onion, celery and onion. Drain.

In a medium bowl, combine diced celery and celery and onion. Dredge in lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Pour mixture into an 8x8 inch baking dish. Place bread in the baking dish and spread a layer of tomato mixture over the top. Top with cheese, then sprinkle with remaining tomato mixture.

Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight to let room for leavening.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.

I used a can of diced tomatoes with jalapenos (fresh) and added a dash of cinnimon (from a different brand of dried chili powder). I also used Teriyaki sauce (Korean restaurant), which is basically mild soy sauce minus the vinegar. I think this will be good for wnderful grilled stews.
