2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chile paste
2 tablespoons minced onion from cubed
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (28 ounce) can red wine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a medium bowl, mix vegetable oil, garlic powder, salt, oregano, garlic, chile paste and onion. Stir until blended.
Heat the wine, vinegar, sugar and vanilla to boiling in a large saucepan. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and stir in red wine and vanilla extract. Serve mixture over cheesy pasta and cheese.
