1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup instant vanilla pudding mix
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, pudding mix, water, milk, and flour. In a separate bowl, mix together baking powder and salt. Stir flour mixture into pudding mixture; fold in butter until dough forms. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Line the crust with aluminum foil, buttered side down. Cut into rounds, using cookie cutters. Arrange cookies 1 1/2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.
